About the project
A listening atlas of the world
BlueTreeAudio brings together 193 original instrumental albums and 193 independent editorial books, one for every country represented on the globe.
One world, many listening paths
The Atlas does not try to compress a country into one definitive sound. Each album is an original contemporary listening work shaped by selected instruments, landscapes and musical reference points; each book opens a much wider world of people, places, histories and living scenes.
Music and reading remain independent
The albums are studio interpretations, not field recordings or archival reconstructions. The books stand on their own as reader-focused guides and never exist merely to explain the accompanying music. They can be entered together or explored separately.
Built for discovery
The globe turns 193 countries into a connected journey. A visitor can move from place to place, listen, read and follow unfamiliar musical routes without losing sight of the communities and histories that extend far beyond this project.
One design across languages
Every complete language version shares the same Atlas, navigation and visual system while each interface, album card and book is written for its own readers. Language changes the text and search experience, not the identity of the project.
