The motion ranges from a soft 9/8 highland pulse to nearly free passages, with restrained rhythmic accents preserving the music's inward gravity. Ararat at dawn, Geghard's cool chambers, apricot shade in a Yerevan courtyard, and evening wind across Lake Sevan give these modal pieces warmth, scale, and changing light.
