Khamak tugs beneath banshi lines that follow an oar through monsoon air.

A dry ektara drone holds the center while dotara plucks form warm, questioning phrases around it. Khamak adds an elastic tug beneath the strings, and banshi opens longer lines that seem to follow an oar across evening water. Free, suspended passages give way to low circular rhythms, with dubki or dhol appearing as a soft heartbeat rather than a heavy accent. From a clay courtyard at dusk to monsoon air over the Padma and Meghna, the album carries wood, breath and river motion through changing shades of intimacy.
