Gendèr and bonang set up a rippling field of bronze, anchored by saron tones and the long punctuation of gong ageng. Kendang guides changes in density, while suling breath slips through the metallic weave with a softer contour. Central Javanese breadth contrasts with Balinese interlock, Sundanese intimacy, eastern gong textures, and the dry pluck of sape.
