A breathy flute and low frame drum open a wide tonal space. Banjo and fiddle lock into crooked old-time patterns before slide guitar and harmonica pull the pacing toward a slower blues turnaround. New Orleans brass changes the scale entirely, with trumpet, trombone, and sousaphone riding a loose second-line drum feel. Accordion and bajo sexto bring Cajun, Creole, and borderlands motion into the middle distance.
