Zurla sends a bright modal line over tapan, whose deep and sharp sides divide the weight of uneven dance metres. Gajda supplies a steadier drone, while kaval and tambura open quieter spaces through breath and dry plucked replies. The album keeps its asymmetries physical: a seven-beat walk, a nine-beat lift, a clipped turn that lands exactly with the drum. Indoor čalgija colours soften the outdoor force with clarinet and violin, creating a vivid contrast between circle-dance momentum and close, ornamented chamber phrasing.
