Shell rattles draw a fine halo around wooden claps and grounded foot percussion, turning small gestures into a precise communal clock. Bamboo flute carries narrow pentatonic phrases above that body rhythm, often ending in a hard stop or a short answering figure. The music favours compact two-bar returns, occasional 6/8 sway, and clear spaces between attacks. Later string and reed colours suggest Koror and Babeldaob community ensembles, but the album's identity remains in hand motion, step weight, clean cadence, and the subtle contrast between shimmer and dry wood.
