Shō chords suspend hichiriki breath above koto edge and slow ceremonial release.

Shō chords hover like slowly changing light while hichiriki and ryūteki draw sharply different streams of breath through them. Koto and gakubiwa add precise plucked edges, later giving way to the exposed air of shakuhachi and the firmer grain of shamisen. The album follows jo-ha-kyū in spirit, opening with restraint, gathering internal motion, and releasing without haste. Courtly resonance, theatre percussion, northern strings, Okinawan warmth, and Ainu plucked color appear as separate rooms connected by attention to silence and decay.
