From Codrii distance to intimate taraf rooms, vioara slides linger over dry cobza strums.

Vioara carries the emotional line through fine slides and delayed ornaments, answered by the dry strum of cobza and the bright hammered tremolo of țambal. Accordion breathes underneath in short chordal phrases, while clarinet occasionally sharpens the contour with a darker Bessarabian turn. Free doina-like openings gradually find two-beat, six-beat, or asymmetrical motion, creating tension without haste. Pastoral flute colours from the Codrii sit beside closer taraf textures and the leaner Chisinau ensemble, giving the album both open-air distance and intimate room detail.
