Pat waing circles through tuned drum figures, answered by the bronze punctuation of kyi waing and the lower weight of maung hsaing. Hne adds a taut, bright contour above those rounded surfaces, while si and wa keep phrase endings exact. The quieter chamber pieces reverse the balance: saung gauk bends luminous harp lines over the dry bamboo shimmer of pattala. Mon, Shan, Rakhine, and Kachin colours widen the rhythmic language before Yangon-Mandalay pieces gather drums, gongs, harp, and reed into a poised contemporary close.
