Large tamtam slit drums establish a deep wooden foundation, answered by conch, handclaps, and bamboo percussion. Panpipes add staggered breath and fine rhythmic interlock, while water percussion creates a bright, liquid surface above the low drum resonance. Guitar and ukulele bring village string-band ease into the later sections. Broad signaling passages alternate with intricate bamboo cycles and open coastal pauses, preserving the tactile difference between carved wood, air, shell, water, and string.
